I think this blog should have been called easy peasy. I figured out over the past few weeks that I am lazy and look for shortcuts [hacks] in everything I do. The final recipe of the week is dessert. This is an easy, last minute dessert that you can take to a party, reheat as necessary and freeze if you want.
Ingredients:
- 2 cans of crescent rolls
- 4 smallish apples
- Cinnamon
- Butter
- Brown sugar
Directions:
- Peel and slice each apple – cut into quarters
- Unroll the crescent rolls and carefully reshape so that they are all triangles
- Dust each triangle with cinnamon
- Add a ½ teaspoon [large pinch] of brown sugar to each triangle
- Roll each up and push the dough to seal
- Cover each with melted butter and another light dusting of cinnamon
- Bake on a stone for 12-15 minutes at 350°
