And for dessert…

apple bites

I think this blog should have been called easy peasy.  I figured out over the past few weeks that I am lazy and look for shortcuts [hacks] in everything I do.  The final recipe of the week is dessert.  This is an easy, last minute dessert that you can take to a party, reheat as necessary and freeze if you want.

  • 2 cans of crescent rolls
  • 4 smallish apples
  • Cinnamon
  • Butter
  • Brown sugar

  1. Peel and slice each apple – cut into quarters
  2. Unroll the crescent rolls and carefully reshape so that they are all triangles
  3. Dust each triangle with cinnamon
  4. Add a ½ teaspoon [large pinch] of brown sugar to each triangle
  5. Roll each up and push the dough to seal
  6. Cover each with melted butter and another light dusting of cinnamon
  7. Bake on a stone for 12-15 minutes at 350°

Enjoy…Nancy Ann
